Health, Dental, Life and Other Insurance
MSJ offers benefit-eligible employees the following insurance coverage:
- Health coverage through Anthem Blue Cross (Nationwide/RETA Trust).
- Dental coverage through Delta Dental.
- Life Insurance coverage through MetLife in the amount of $20,000 for employee at no cost, with an opportunity to secure additional insurance for self and/or family members, paid by the employee.
- Other Insurances – Employees may purchase short and long term disability insurance, accidental death and dismemberment insurance and cancer insurance policies for themselves and their dependents. Premiums are paid by the employee.
Benefit-eligible employees work 40 hours per week. New employees’ health, dental, life and other insurance coverage is effective the first of the month following sixty (60) days of continuous employment.
